About

Privacy

A short, plain-language summary of what data exists and what does not.

The short version

There are no accounts and no personal profiles. The site is built to work without knowing who you are.

What stays in your browser

  • Your reading language is visible in the URL.
  • Your theme preference may be stored in local storage.
  • Small cached files may be stored so pages load faster offline.

What we don't collect ourselves

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and home addresses.
  • Passwords or login credentials.
  • Who read what, tied to your identity, on our servers.
  • Exact location or contact lists.

Ads and measurement

To keep the site free, we show Google AdSense ads and use Google Analytics to count how often pages are read.

To serve ads, Google may store cookies or use device identifiers in your browser. That part is on Google's side — not something we control. Nothing about your identity, like your name or email, reaches our servers through this.

If personalized ads bother you, you can turn them off at adssettings.google.com. Industry-wide opt-outs are at aboutads.info/choices (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU). For how Google uses data from partner sites, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Server logs and third parties

Our hosting and CDN may temporarily record basic request logs such as time, path, and response status. Same as most websites.

If you follow a link to an outside service, that service has its own privacy policy and data practices.

Changes

If this page changes in a meaningful way, we will update the text here.
